The original plan was to put this out as a double A side single, with “Eat Hot Lead” on the flip side, but we never got around to it. Worm wrote the music by banging two chords as I screamed the lyrics at him. After a few concerts it became “Kill your parents now” and had some additional lyrics, but I can’t remember them and can’t make them out on the crummy tapes we have. With Eat Hot Lead, Kill for Kicks, and “Kick and Kick,” we were ready for our first concerts in 1978. The studio version featured some genuine 15-year-old girls that Worm brought along to the session. The last “Kill for Kicks and the heavy noise at the end were spliced in from a demo recording of the song.
